Hi, I’m from Belgium and I’m visiting Austria (more specifically Häselgehr) in August. I’d like to have a prepaid data SIM there, but the mobile operators in Austria don’t seem to ship internationally. Does anybody know a solution? Thanks…

You can buy Prepaid-SIM here in Austria and activate it via WLAN. Super markets like „Hofer“ sell cards from yesss and alternatively you get it in tobacconists.

I read about the prepaid SIMs and the one from T-Mobile (10GB for € 9,9) looks like the best option for me. When I look on their website however, there aren’t any stores stelling these in the neighbourhood of Häselgehr.
I was thinking maybe somebody could send it on to me if I have it delivered to them, or can buy me one and send it to me (after payment of course).

No international shipping. Always a pain in the ass with those providers. Especially if you visit a country by car. All those portals on the way and no chance to hack them 🙁 And lets face it … one likes to enjoy the stay in a foreign city and not hunting for a simcard in stores where no one speaks english 🙁
And in this case it seems to be quite a little town. No provider stores, no Hofer around for about 12 km….
Which date in August exactly do you need the simcard?

Johannes Loeffler I’ll be there from the 7th till the 17th of August. The problem is that I’ll be there with a group of people and I won’t have a car… (bus, and I’m not the driver)
